School Nativity Play, Stable Story

The stable was constructed, the fairy lights were lit, the Order of Services were printed, the costumes acquired.......and so the Stable Story began. This year’s annual school Nativity Play, entitled “Stable Story” was on Sunday 11th December. Parents, Grandparents, other family friends, Bishop Patrick Rooke, Canon Derick Swann and Rev. Andrew Ison gathered in St. Paul’s Church to hear the delightful production. They listened intently to the toe-tapping tunes that presented the story of that special night in Bethlehem. It was rounded off by a touching candlelit rendition of “Oíche Ciúin” on tin whistle and then performed acapella. There followed refreshments in the school thanks to the hard work of all the parents.

The wonderful collection of €728.44 was divided equally between Barnardos and the North West Hospice.
