Presentation on Uganda
Ms. Alison Bourke, a retired Principal, enlightened the children with knowledge on her trip to Mbale, Eastern Uganda and 'My Father's House' school where she worked for three weeks. She showed us pictures of how under-resourced the school was and helped us realise how privileged we are. She informed us that they had no equipment for learning whatsoever. All they had was pens and paper, and stones from their yard as counters! Then she enthused us about the wildlife and culture and shared photos of her trip to Murchison Falls Safari Park.
